How we test food boxes
Every review on Busy Bee Food is based on a box we have actually ordered, cooked and eaten - not a spec sheet or a press release. We pay for the boxes ourselves, follow the recipes as written, and judge them the way you would: on portion size, taste, how long they really take, the quality of the ingredients, and whether we would order again.
How we rate
Our ratings out of 10 weigh four things: value (full price per portion, not the first-box discount), flexibility (servings, one-off versus subscription, skipping), quality (ingredients, portions, recipes) and choice (menu size and dietary range). We update prices and details regularly and note when each was last checked.
