Packaging & ethics

Packaging: Frozen packaging, recyclable where possible.

Sourcing: 100% plant-based.

allplants sells chef-made, 100% plant-based frozen ready meals built into a box. Following the original company's administration in late 2024, the brand was acquired by Deliciously Ella's founder and relaunched, so it runs the same frozen vegan model but with new recipes (the original recipes now sit with Grubby).

Meals work out around £4.50 to £6 each depending on box size, delivery is free, and there is no subscription - you build a box of four to eight meals as a one-off. Delivery is UK mainland only and excludes Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and all UK islands.

It suits vegan households wanting freezer-ready convenience without a standing plan. Note that it is not reliably gluten-free, so coeliacs should look at Field Doctor instead.

Our hands-on notes: [To add - first-hand experience: portion sizes, how it cooked/tasted, packaging, and whether we would reorder.]

Frequently asked questions

Is allplants still trading?

Yes. After the original company entered administration in 2024, the brand was bought and relaunched by Deliciously Ella's founder, and it is taking orders again with new recipes.

Is allplants gluten-free?

No, not reliably - some meals may contain gluten. If you need certified gluten-free, Field Doctor or Mindful Chef are safer choices.
